Dear Parents,
I hope you all
had a nice easter break and that you are all safe and well.
We aim to organise and support a managable and non stressful scheme of work
for all pupils, with a plan ahead for the week.
We will continue to use the website as a communication tool, for general update letters, for
any photos you may wish to display of pupils, and to display the weekly work schedule for pupils. We hope to minimise stress for parents by having a straight-forward way to access the work schemes.
We appreciate that home and work routines and structures are altered currently and things are not straightforward. As has been said previously, we appreciate and acknowledge that every person's situation is different
and every child is different and unique, so please, just do what you can, when it works for you, and if needs be- take a rest from the work also.
We will continue to compile weekly schemes of work that can be done, when possible, for each pupil to work on each day, as a guide, with supporting links and materials, some which have previously been put up on this website, if you wish to also use
these.
Each teacher has their own page for the work schedules based on classes and subjects taught, so pupils can find
their work scheme on that teacher's page.
The teacher pages and schemes of work will be updated the start of each week,
for that week ahead.
There is an email contact addresses to communicate with each of the teachers individually regarding any aspect of work or
to update on how you all are getting on & how things are going for you.
As each week progresses, items & links may be added to
the schedule also or additional supports and hints relating to work.
For now, we will mainly remain focused on the areas of Maths, English and
Gaeilge. We will arrange reamining pupil books - History, Geography, Religion books etc.. to get to you, when we are allowed to do so again.
Any photos of pupils and activities etc can be added for display on school website if you wish to forward them to inchigeelans@gmail.com.
Thank you all and every good wish to you,
Stay safe-
Margaret on behalf of all staff, Inchigeela NS
